    Bay Area Ren Fest Auditions

Tuesday, November 3, 2009, 12:11 AM EST [General]

Auditions for the 2010 Bay Area Renaissance Festival will be held on Satuday, November 21 and Saturday, December 12 from 9am until 1pm at the festival site.  Auditions for Chess Match will be held at the same time as general cast auditions.  However, one must be a part of general cast in order to participate in Chess Match.

We are scheduling two audition dates to accomodate those who will be involved in other shows on either date.  You do not need to attend both dates.

Please wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move in.  Costume for auditions is not necessary.  Auditions will consist of improv games.  We are looking for people of all types to fill the village, who are creative, eager to play and who can follow direction.  Headshots and resumes will be accepted but are not required.

    Please help spread the word!

    "God save the Queen!"

Apparently, my 6 year old granddaughter was particularly exuberant with that cry on Children's Day (Sept 18th). Even seeing only the edge of your new outfit coming around the corner at Joust, she was adamant in her declaration to one and all - "God Save The Queen"

'Tis always my pleasure to visit the shire of Hollygrove and add my own heartfelt declaration of fealty. May your reign last forever!

    My good Queen,

T'was an honor as always to have graced your faire once again and to be in your grand company. Know ye this, be well and I pray your last weekend will be one unlike any other. Let the merriment flow as I know you will. I am on journey to Des Moines to courtly matters I must attend to. Be ye well, and know my sword is always at your disposal shall you ask it.
